About
We conduct Gender Sensitization Workshops with enrolled children, focusing on building awareness around gender equality and dismantling stereotypes. The session was designed as an engaging, interactive experience using discussions, visual content, and creative activities to challenge preconceived notions of gender roles and encourage critical thinking.
The program emphasizes sustainable agricultural practices and drives research-based, context-specific interventions across rural, urban, and semi-urban areas. With a vision to create a greener, more self-reliant India, P2P strives to reach and impact over 1.3 billion people through awareness, action, and collaboration.
Objective
The workshop aims to empower children with a clear understanding of gender equality. It encourages them to explore and question common stereotypes, foster empathy and mutual respect, and build leadership skills irrespective of gender. The sessions also promote equitable practices at home, in schools, and in future workplaces. Children are encouraged to reflect on how gender roles are portrayed in stories, media, and everyday life.We conduct Gender Sensitization Workshops with enrolled children, focusing on building awareness around gender equality and dismantling stereotypes. Impact
Participants gained critical awareness of how stereotypes shape their perceptions and aspirations. Through creative reimagining of roles and open discussions, they began to challenge traditional narratives and visualize inclusive possibilities. Writing about their career aspirations helped children confidently express their ambitions, reinforcing the belief that all professions are open to everyone—regardless of gender—paving the way for more inclusive personal and professional futures. The workshop aims to empower children with a clear understanding of gender equality.
