The “Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries” (SFURTI) aims to organise traditional skills into competitive clusters, provide sustained employment for traditional artisans, and enhance product marketability through design interventions and packaging. It also seeks to improve skills and capabilities with training and exposure visits, provision common facilities, improved tools, and equipment, develop multi-product clusters with stakeholder participation in governance, shift from a supply-driven to a market-driven model, and utilise e-commerce platforms as a major marketing channel.
Nisarg Agriprenuership Foundation provides support and technical assistance to more than 50 SFURTI clusters across the nation. We are a pioneer in establishing Agro-based SFURTI Clusters across the country.
Nisarg Agrepreneurship Foundation is a Nodal agency of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME), India. It is noteworthy that we are the first among all Private Non-Profit Organisations to be officially empanelled as a Nodal Agency by MSME. This designation signifies our unique position and credibility in collaborating with MSME for project oversight and support.
As a nodal agency, we are working hard to restructure and strengthen traditional arts, agricultural practices, machinery advancements in various sectors. We are trying our best to blend extensive outreach of both human and physical resources to put our efforts into various schemes.

Our priorities are to use interactive methods of information circulation, Public-Private partnerships, prevalent & ingenious use of AI, IoT, Blockchain, and Information & Communication Technology (ICT) / Mass Media to progress various schemes and programmes of the Government of India.
Located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, this cluster is providing livelihood opportunities to 230 women artisans by equipping them with cutting-edge machinery, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and access to a broad market for a seamless supply chain. This transformative initiative is assisting women artisans in improving their economic conditions through entrepreneurship opportunities.
Situated in Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh, this cluster is a testament to community development and sustainable livelihood opportunities. Catering to 250 women artisans, it offers technology and computerised embroidery training to craft exquisite fabrics, bed sheets, tablecloths, and sofa covers, featuring techniques like Zari, Sequin, Banjara, and Motif embroidery. The cluster also produces rugs, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation. Currently, women beneficiaries enjoy socio-economic upliftment through a stable monthly income.
The Hand Embroidery Craft Cluster in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, supports 726 artisans, including women and those from Scheduled Castes, by enhancing livelihoods and improving living standards. Through expertise and guidance, this cluster preserves the cultural legacy of handmade embroidered apparel and household decor products, appealing to a broad market. It stands as a beacon of opportunity, uplifting underserved communities.
Nestled in Gaya, Bihar, this cluster empowers 799 artisans by emphasising the nutritional intake of farmers and their families while ensuring affordability and accessibility. The cluster revolutionises agriculture and nutrition by integrating traditional practices with modern techniques, fostering social cohesion and economic empowerment.
Located in Ajmer, Rajasthan, this cluster focuses on uplifting marginalised communities by assisting 800 artisans through comprehensive training programs and exposure visits. The cluster produces and processes sorghum and pearl millet into cookies, pasta, vermicelli, bars, instant mixes, and puffs. It has become a vital hub of opportunity, empowering communities both socially and economically.
The Sitapur cluster preserves art forms and generates income for 747 skilled artisans by enhancing the aesthetic appeal of products. By transforming carpets and durries into coveted items and employing innovative marketing and branding strategies, the cluster economically empowers artisans and provides a broad market for their products.
Established in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, this cluster employs 657 skilled craftsmen, improving the community’s economic conditions by strengthening monitoring mechanisms and generating value through upgraded machinery. By introducing modernised techniques and quality products, the cluster supports artisans’ development and innovation.
The Mathura Traditional Poshak Making Cluster empowers 747 skilled artisans by upholding cultural legacies with modern production techniques and machinery. Providing export opportunities through agencies like ISKCON, the cluster expands the global reach of products like Laddoo Gopal Poshak, Badi Kanhaji Poshak, Kurta Bagal Bandi, Pooja Aasan, Singhasan, Accessories, Vrindavan Print Bed Covers, Quilts, Mats, and Runners. In Jhalawar, Rajasthan, this cluster has introduced post-harvest management and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), increasing the efficiency of 710 artisans. By incorporating cost reduction techniques to produce garlic powder, paste, flakes, and sorted whole garlic, the cluster empowers artisans through skill development and provides a stable income through innovation.
Established in Madhubani, Bihar, this cluster uplifts the community economically, encompassing 878 beneficiaries. By incorporating technology and stringent quality control measures, the cluster secures better marketing linkages for products like flavored makhana, instant food, and flakes makhana. It provides artisans with stable economic options through innovation and market-driven strategies.
Located in Zunheboto, Nagaland, this cluster supports 600 artisans by leveraging e-platforms for export opportunities, quality control measures, and information technology to streamline operations. By marketing value-added products like animal feed, dry sliced turmeric, dry polished turmeric, and dry ginger powder, the cluster maximises earning potential.
