From Darbhanga to Delhi: Sambhavi’s Journey of Hope and Learning
At just 10 years old, Sambhavi carries a quiet strength that
belies her age. Originally from Darbhanga, Bihar, Sambhavi is the eldest of
three siblings. Her family moved to Delhi in search of better opportunities
after her father struggled to find work in their village. While they
occasionally visit their hometown, Sambhavi now considers Delhi home—for one
simple reason: here, she can learn.
Back in Darbhanga, school was a distant dream. “There’s no
real scope for education in our village,” Sambhavi shares. But everything
changed when her family found stability in Delhi and she was introduced to the
TEACH Hub.
The TEACH Hub quickly became more than just a learning space
for Sambhavi. It became a gateway to a world she never knew existed. “I love
coming here. I can do math now!” she says, eyes lighting up. She’s especially
fascinated by shapes and patterns—a far cry from the days when school felt out
of reach.
For Sambhavi, learning isn’t just about textbooks; it’s
about transformation. The TEACH Hub’s supportive environment, hands-on
activities, and consistent mentorship have sparked a deep curiosity in her—a
curiosity that may very well shape her future.
Sambhavi’s story is just one of many. Through safe,
community-based learning spaces, the TEACH Hub is helping migrant and
underserved children reclaim their right to education, explore their potential,
and dream beyond limitations.
Sonali’s Voice: Learning, Language, and a Life Full of
Possibilities
Sonali, a bright-eyed girl from Bihar, has always known two
homes: the village where her roots lie, and the bustling NCR cityscape where her
father has worked for years to support the family. Now living in Delhi with her
parents and three siblings, Sonali finally has something she longed for back
home—a chance to truly learn.
“In the village, studying was difficult,” she says. “Here, I
can go to school every day. I love it.”
Sonali’s passion for education shines through every word she
speaks. She’s especially fond of English and grammar, often breezing through
exercises with great fluency. Her eyes sparkle when she talks about learning
new words or crafting sentences. At just 11, Sonali dreams big, and her words
carry the confidence of someone who knows education will shape her future.
The TEACH Hub has played a pivotal role in nurturing that
dream. It’s where Sonali gets to practice what she learns in school—and go even
deeper. The Hub’s warm environment, interactive lessons, and focus on both
academics and personal growth have allowed her to thrive.
“I like coming to the TEACH Hub because I learn even more
here,” she says. “They help us understand things better. I can speak better
English now.”
